Zombie Draconian Hawaii Knife Ban Bill Deferred Indefinitely

In Hawaii, another zombie bill from last year shuffled out of the graveyard and was heard in the Senate Committee on Safety and Military Affairs yesterday. Last year early intervention by Knife Rights resulted in the bill not even getting a hearing, but this year we were unable to accomplish that. West Virginia Knife Law Preemption Bill Passed House Judiciary Committee

West Virginia SB 96 that would expand the state’s firearms preemption statute to include “deadly weapons,” including knives, was passed by the House Judiciary Committee with a minor amendment that does not affect the Knife Law Preemption aspect of the bill.
