A number of identical bills have been filed in Virginia to repeal the state’s ban on carry of “dangerous weapons,” including a “bowie” [sic] knife or dagger, “without good and sufficient reason” in a place of worship (§18.2-283). As we have in previous sessions, Knife Rights supports these efforts to allow persons to carry whatever knife they want, whether as a simple tool or for self-defense.
